Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer required - £43k+, Van and good benefits. To be based at North Tyneside General Hospital 80% of the time, van provided.
Our client is a National FM service provider and are now looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based 80% of the time at North Tyneside General Hospital. There is a requiremnet for the Engineer to visit Harrogate Hospital 1 day a week. The work will be on the Energy centre and Plant room side not the hospital wards etc. Any travel to would be in work time, paid.
Role
* Planned Maintenance on Electrical / HVAC plant, undertaking reactives and PPM's
* Generator run tests
* Conduct site walk rounds and completing reports.
* Checking UPS systems
* Checking / repairing lighting / lamps / ballasts etc
* FCU's / AHU experience
Location
Predominantly based at North Tyneside General Hospital with 1 day a week at Harrogate Hopsital. Van/Fuel card provided.
Experience required
* Electrical / HVAC Building services maintenance background.
* Energy Centre / Critical plant experience required.
* Strong Electrical and Building Services Maintenance knowledge
* Electrical NVQ City & Guilds Level 2 / 3 qualified along with 18th Edition/
* Low Voltage Authorised Person LV AP preferred.
* Experience of Hospital or Critical Environments preferred.
* Understanding of Electrical / HVAC plant maintenance in a commercial environment (not domestic).
* Must be smart and presentable, have excellent communication skills and be client facing as you will be interacting with the client on site on a daily basis.
* Ideal candidate will live within a sensible commute to North Tyneside General Hospital and be prepared to travel to Harrogate Hospital on occaision.
Salary / benefits
* Competitive salary £43k+ based on 40hrs
* Mon to Fri days 8 - 4:30pm
* Good overtime rates including time & half and double time.
