We are recruiting a Bench Joiner in CV6 with immediate start.
Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 17:00pm
£14.00 - £15.00 per hour
As a Bench Joiner, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of wooden products including fire doors, windows, cupboards, and wardrobes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent woodworking skills, and a passion for creating high-quality bespoke items.
Key Responsibilities:
Constructing fire doors, windows, cupboards, and wardrobes to specifications using various woodworking tools and techniques.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
Selecting appropriate materials for each project.
Operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
Assembling and finishing wooden components with precision and attention to detail.
Inspecting finished products for quality and making any necessary adjustments.
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborating with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or similar role.
Proficiency in woodworking techniques and knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Health and safety conscious with knowledge of relevant regulations and practices.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
