Role – BNG Specialist/Senior Ecologist
Location – Kent – 2 trips to the office a month
Salary - £35 - £45K DOE
Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy based in Kent who are looking for a BNG Specialist to Join their team. Their work varies from beautiful homes in the countryside to a wave park, to the regeneration of a contaminated historic rail yard site, to large strategic mixed use schemes including country parks.
This is a fantastic opportunity within a company that will allow you to make your mark. They have previously outsourced their BNG/Ecology and are now looking to bring this inhouse to give them the ability to streamline their BNG process for their valuable clients.
BNG SPECIALIST/SENIOR ECOLOGIST REQUIREMENTS
* A degree in a relevant subject
* At least 5 years’ experience
* Associate/Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM)
* Excellent report writing experience including EPS licencing, HRA and ES chapters, including the production of Ecological Impact Assessments
* Experienced in BNG and confident using UK Habs
* A specialism in Botany and be competent in the mitigation for one or more of the following species groups; bats, badgers, birds, dormice, great crested newts, reptiles, and water voles
* A self-starter and able to use own initiative and be proactive when appropriate
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Full clean driving licence
