Embark on a transformative journey with a pivotal role at the heart of Heathrow's Terminal 2 – The Queen's Terminal, as it enters its 7th regulatory period, "H7". This is a chance to join a Major Project Partner and Asset Renewal Partner, shaping the future of one of the world's most significant aviation hubs.

This permanent, full-time role is not merely a job; it's a career-defining move for a Design Manager with a passion for construction, shell and core, and fit-out activities.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Design Management team, taking a proactive stance in managing the design of Building Construction works within the terminal. This includes overseeing permanent works designers and specialist designing subcontractors to deliver solutions that are not only safe and of high quality but also innovative and commercially advantageous.

Requirements

* A minimum of 5 years' experience in design management is essential, preferably with a main or subcontractor.

* Experience in a complex project environment with multiple stakeholders, particularly in Aviation or a similar sector, is highly sought after.

* A robust working knowledge of RIBA stages, client standards and processes, CDM Regulations 2015, and ACOPs will set the foundation for success.

* Academic qualifications in a relevant field are a prerequisite, as is possession of a relevant CSCS card.

* The ideal candidate will be a champion of Sustainability, Safety, Health, and Environment, placing personal safety and well-being at the forefront.
