As the Process Manager, you will be responsible for managing the manufacturing and assembly teams at the process level to meet business and customer needs in terms of health and safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity. Your key responsibilities will include:

Driving the safety culture and leading safety improvement projects within a diverse team, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment
Actively demonstrating a commitment to a quality culture, collecting meaningful data on quality issues and implementing improvement actions
Reacting to production problems swiftly to meet shift production targets and customer service requirements
Collecting data on production losses and implementing timely improvements to enhance efficiency
Promoting a culture of open communication and resolving employee concerns, coaching the team to improve performance

To excel in this role, you will need the following skills and capabilities:

A strong focus on safety, with experience in leading safety improvement projects and enforcing health and safety rules
Demonstrated commitment to quality, with a track record of successfully resolving quality issues at their root cause
Proven experience in meeting production targets and reactively addressing production problems
Strong data analysis skills and the ability to implement efficiency improvements
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop and coach a diverse team

This role reports to the Manufacturing Operations & Transformation Manager, and the successful candidate will have:

A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) with Grade 4 or above in Maths (higher paper), English, and a science-related subject
Safety qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH, or relevant experience preferred
Experience in delivering industrial productivity in a similar environment
Experience in successfully managing people and projects
