Job Opportunity: Experienced Quantity Surveyor
Our client, a leading specialist in Enabling, Groundworks, Civil Engineering, and RC Frame projects, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic commercial team. Based in London, the company operates within a fast-paced environment across a diverse range of projects in London, the South East, and throughout England, with current project values up to £10 million.
Key Responsibilities:
Subcontractor Management: Send out enquiries, collate prices, compare tenders, and manage order placements.
Cost Management: Oversee the financial aspects of projects or sections of work.
Value/Change Management: Handle valuation and change management for projects or sections of work.
Risk and Opportunity Management: Evaluate and manage project risks and opportunities.
Subcontract Documentation: Assist in the preparation and issuance of subcontract documentation, enquiries, and negotiations.
Financial Reporting: Conduct regular financial reporting.
Claims Management: Identify, prepare, and negotiate claims.
Application Submission: Prepare and submit applications.Required Experience:
Quantity Surveying: Several years of experience in the UK, preferably in RC Frame, Groundworks, or Civil Engineering.
Educational Background: Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (NVQ or similar).
