What you'll be doing:

Planning the Digital Environment Test team activities
Managing a team of Test engineers including external partners
Liaising with Test and Design team stakeholders and with other Dreadnought teams across all BAE Systems business units
Ensuring effective leadership focused on development and delivery of the Digital Environment Test team products
Contributing to the onward development of model-based systems engineeringYour skills and experiences:

Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience in relevant areas
Experience in leading test teams and managing test programmes
Experience in a virtual testing environment is highly desirable
Experience using Matlab/Simulink would be highly desirableBenefits:

The Dreadnought Active Vehicle Control (AVC) FD team:

Working on the UK's largest defence engineering project, this role offers a great opportunity to develop contemporary model based systems engineering skills. This role will develop your skills in working on future platforms and provide a broad exposure across both Air and Submarines business areas which will lend itself well to future development opportunities.

You will be leading the Digital Environment Test team to perform assessments using system level Use Cases for both requirement validation and operator assessment.
