Do you have a passion for nature? Imagine turning it into a daily adventure that inspires children. Our partner school is looking for an enthusiastic Level 3 Forest School Lead to bring the wonder of the outdoors to children eager to learn and explore.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement engaging outdoor educational programs that align with our forest school ethos.

* Lead groups of children in outdoor activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.

* Oversee the administration and use of outdoor learning facilities.

* Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and staff.

Requirements:

* Certified as a Level 3 Forest School Practitioner.

* In-depth knowledge, understanding, and practical experience of Forest School provision.

* Experience working with children with SEND.

* First Aid Training is highly advantageous.

* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

Additional Details:

Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Our partnered school offers an excellent learning environment for children with autism and other special education needs, aged 4 to 19. The school is an ideal setting for a Forest School programme because of its large facilities designed to especially encourage a strong relationship with the natural world.

8 acres of lush woodland make up the school's huge outdoor learning area, which functions as a vibrant classroom for nature-based learning. The Forest School Lead may provide immersive learning experiences that encourage students' environmental awareness, hands-on learning, and personal growth thanks to this special environment.
