Description
We are looking for a Database Administrator who will protect our critical information, systems and assets, develop solutions, implement new databases, provide training and participate in the development of a global data warehousing strategy. We're looking for someone who can apply their skills to a technology-based business model that creates real solutions.

• Responsible for the design, maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of databases
• Install and update databases, manage and integrate automation processes
• Design and implement maintenance procedures
• Manage access and security
• Resolve software errors by performing diagnostics, documenting problems and their resolutions, prioritizing problems and assessing the impact of problems
• Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for the planning and implementation of new or upgraded IT infrastructures and solutions.
• Database backup management
• Responsible for database capacity, Storage planning and performance
• Liaise with programmers, applications, operational staff, Project Manager and other necessary technical staff.
• Be the SPOC and key people for the company's future data hosting strategy.

Skills

• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  
• Fluent in French and English
• Knowledge and understanding of the main database technologies
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB, S3 Object Storage, TimeScaleDB
• Knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of the Kubernetes environment
• Good Knowledge of database backup systemsGreat Troubleshooting skills
• Provide user and develeper training, support and assitance
• Knowledges of scripting (PowerShell, Python, )
