Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our existing multi-disciplinary professional maintenance team in providing a safe environment for all service users, staff and visitors across our Suffolk sites being based in Ipswich.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate would be flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and confident in being part of a team that provides a comprehensive maintenance service in a unique varied environment.

Duties & Responsibilities Associated with this role:

* to provide a comprehensive service to include all aspects of planned and routine maintenance

* to repair and maintain a wide range of electrical services and equipment on site

* fault finding and diagnosis

* routine inspections to ensure our estate is safe and fully compliant

* ensuring all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health & Safety and other relevant legislation

* will be required to participate as a member of the On-Call Team providing an emergency out of hours service on a rotational basis
