Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £36k + Training + Benefits

We are recruiting in the North East region for a leading UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to recruit an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. You will be carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical services in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines, covering Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, and Local Authority sites. Consideration will be given to candidates from: South Shields, Tynemouth, Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham, Gateshead, Durham, Consett, Barnard Castle, Durham, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Darlington. Middlesbrough, Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Morpeth, Ashington.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent qualification.
" Extensive hands-on experience working as a surveyor / analyst for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Well versed in HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Will be familiar using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Excellent communication and time management skills.
The Role:
" Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Conducting 4 stage clearances.
" Leak, smoke, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
" Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Carrying out onsite audits.
" Sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag and label correctly prior to sending for analysis.
" Working in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER system to produce detailed reports using site findings.
