Project Design Engineer
The integrated Group of companies are an established, successful multi-disciplined Project Engineering business, working with a wide range of international blue-chip organisations.
We are seeking an experienced and talented Mechanical Design Engineer with key skills in mechanical engineering projects using 3D CAD to join our design team and work on extraction & ventilation systems in industrial production facilities.
The candidate must excel in AutoCAD and have an engineering background, ideally with experience in HVAC or related Building Services installations.
Reporting to the Projects Director, and based at our offices in Wilmslow, the person will be responsible for a combination of design & project management tasks and related activities. From design through to handover ensuring successful project execution in terms of quality, time and financial budget
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Producing design & installation layouts and fabrication drawings
* The ability to assess & perform site measuring
* Quality and adequacy of engineering with compliance to applicable standards
* Project organization and schedules
* Project financial budget
You:
* Excel at 3D CAD – Inventor/Solidworks
* Experience in working in a project related environment within industrial or building services, including Sub-contractor control
* Good communication skills
* Good IT skills, MS-Office, MS Project etc
* Prepared to travel on a regular basis, both Domestic & International
* Experience of design and build projects within construction & industrial sectors
