My client are looking for an experienced wood machinist to join the growing production team, an award-winning designer and UK manufacturer of contemporary furniture working with high-end brands across the hospitality, cruise, workplace and private healthcare sectors.
The ideal candidate will work alongside our talented team of craftsmen who use their expertise, passion and attention to detail to produce a variety of high-quality furniture.
Are you an experienced operator who can/has:
* Follow established procedures, specifications, and standards.
* Produce machined components with a keen attention to detail and consistent quality.
* Work with a variety of traditional woodworking machines along with 3 and 4 axis CNCs.
* Read and interpret documents and drawings.
* Be a team player capable of bringing fresh perspectives and adjusting to new challenges.
* A passion for sustainability and care for the environment.
* Adopt LEAN manufacturing principles.
* Industry experience would be advantageous but not essential
