Corporate Assurance Manager – Birmingham/London – Full Time – Reputable Charity – Training & Progression – Flexible Hybrid Working
 
The Organisation:

A responsible and progressive charity, aiming to provide social justice and support to vulnerable groups of people across the UK; victims of domestic violence, ex-offenders, young people, people with mental health difficulties and those struggling with substance misuse. They are a well-established organisation with a positive market reputation and over 20 years of experience in supported living.

This company are currently operating supported housing services for rehabilitating ex-offenders that have left a prison setting. The service ensures the instilling of independent living skills, positive wellbeing and personal development within ex-offenders, working towards their bettering of life and prevention of repeat offending.

The Opportunities:
40 hours a week, 1 hour lunch per day unpaid. I am also open to part time staff, i.e. someone with the right experience but only available 2/3 days a week.
Competitive pay rates;  are paid £35.30 (Umbrella), per hour.
Contract length will be 6-months before prospective extension and/or permanence.
You can be based at either Birmingham Edmund House office, or London Devonshire Square office.  The Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Assurance Manager you will be working across the Charity, taking responsibility for embedding compliance with the Charity’s ISO27001 certification.
Line management responsibility for the Information Security Officer and the Corporate Policy & Assurance Officer.
To lead on the development and maintenance of the clients data privacy programme and policy framework. 
To support the clients strategic activities by working closely with the Head of Performance and Assurance and relevant colleagues across the Charity.
To work across the Charity to track delivery against the Charity’s corporate plan initiatives and assurance framework.
To establish efficient systems that facilitate the effective management of complaints and complements across the charity and establish a learning culture from the effective analysis of complaints.
To oversee the clients data privacy programme and data protection arrangements, ensuring data compliance queries from internal and external parties are managed effectively and efficiently. 
Support the Head of Performance and Assurance to meet the Charity’s wider strategic aims by working across the Charity and contributing to Corporate Plans and strategies. The Application:
