About the role

Are you interested in a Business Administration career, where you can make a real difference to children, young people and families?

This is a fast-paced role that is crucial to supporting coordinators to meet statutory deadlines with Educational Health Care Plans. You will be part of a Team supporting children, young people and families with Special Education Needs and disabilities, you will contribute by providing high quality business support services including dealing with members of the public, schools and processing and storing information in relation to children’s education, health and care plans. You will be required to collate panel papers and minute multi panel meetings. You will be part of a Team of three case officers and a Team Leader who support young adults with special education needs and disabilities and working at least three days per week in an office setting with an expectation that you will work virtually for the remaining 2 days.

About you

We are seeking an individual who can build excellent working relationships with professionals and members of the public. You will be a highly organised individual who is able to organise and prioritise your workload accordingly, with good IT skills and will be able to provide efficient first-class customer service to all users, parents, and schools who utilities our service. Whilst prior experience of working in a Social Care environment is not essential, you should be able to demonstrate experience of providing administrative support in a busy customer-focused team, good ICT skills and must be comfortable with using Microsoft Office applications
