Bristol / Gloucester Based, Region South West / Worcester / Cheltenham

My client is Europe’s largest and most successful kitchen manufacturer. Established in Germany in 1945, they are recognised worldwide for innovative design and the best engineering. With an expansive, 55,000 sq ft head office and distribution warehouse in the North West of England and a plan to open up to 200 showrooms, they deliver a seamless service from concept to installation and aftercare to house builders and property developers clients nationwide.

Due to an exciting period of growth and a solid plan in place for further expansion, we are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to develop our brand within our existing independent showroom client base, open up new accounts and deliver unparalleled service and training all within our independents channel.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and maximize market share for your region. You will oversee and develop key relationships with an existing client base, training on kitchen design and our latest products in order to maximise sales, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of kitchen design or selling into kitchen showrooms,, strong account management skills, and the ability to thrive in a competitive market.

The Regional Sales Manager for the independent kitchen showroom division, is responsible for driving business growth in their region, managing an existing client base and developing relationships / revenue streams with potential new independent kitchen showrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Strategy and Planning:

Execute a comprehensive market strategy to achieve sales and revenue targets.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities within your region.

Create and implement effective marketing and sales plans with your customer base.

Sales and Business Development:

Work with the existing regional sales team in generating new business, expanding the customer base, and managing key accounts.

Develop and maintain strong relationships within the independent kitchen showroom sector.

Negotiate and close sales contracts and partnerships.

Operational Management:

Oversee all operational aspects of the business, working with key stakeholders not only in the UK but working closely with colleagues at our Head Office in Germany.

Ensure the timely delivery of products, quality control, and cost efficiency.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage the budget, financial forecasts, and cost control measures for your region.

Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Customer Service:

Champion excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with a proven track record of selling into the independent kitchen showroom market, alternatively you could be a high performing kitchen designer with the ambition and talent to take your career out of showrooms and support independent kitchen showrooms.

Proven experience as a Kitchen Designer or Regional Sales Manager within the kitchen industry.

In-depth knowledge of the kitchen manufacturing industry, kitchen design, market dynamics, and trends.

Strong business acumen and a track record of driving sales growth and profitability.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective commercial strategies.

Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
