Medical Scientific Liaison (all genders) - GM Multi Asset CardioRenal/Womens Health - North-East

As an MSL, you are the scientific contact person for opinion leaders in the region of Dresden, Jena, Erfurt.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exchange and dissemination of scientific, educational, and research-related information: You plan, partner, and engage with Thought
    Leaders (TLs) as a subject matter expert and colleague both proactively and reactively. You use various innovative TL engagement
    tactics and formats to disseminate, clarify, and educate on scientific data, study protocols, meeting abstracts, and professional literature.
    This includes both proactive discussions on-label and reactive discussions for unsolicited off-label questions in alignment with local
    regulations
  • TL Identification / profiling / segmentation and strategy and engagement planning: You contribute to the internal understanding of specific
    TL interests, expertise, and impact in the medical community at large, in alignment with the medical strategy as stipulated in the integrated
    brand plan
  • Participation at / networking in Congresses and Conventions: You use congresses and conventions to network with TLs, establish new
    contacts, and gather competitive intelligence
  • Coordination of Scientific Education Activities and Advisory Boards: You plan and organize scientific training, education events/sessions,
    and advisory boards with TLs within your specific therapeutic area
  • Preparing reports and tracking activities: You submit timely reports of field interactions and events, as well as track activities against
    agreed-upon PMP objectives and the country medical activity plan
  • Collecting Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) ideas and facilitating IIR set-up: You act as a point of contact for investigators, facilitating
    the interface with investigators and appropriate BHC personnel responsible for approval and communication of study progress and
    completion
  • Interactions with Medical Societies: You answer medical/scientific queries of Medical Societies with regards to Bayer products
  • Internal scientific support and Clinical Research Support: You serve as an internal scientific expert by selectively supporting training activities
    and answering scientific/medical queries from Sales Representatives (in conjunction with/as a supporting element to Medical Advisors).
    Additionally, you provide support to local clinical operations personnel/Medical Advisors with respect to strategic feasibility in
    company-sponsored clinical development studies as well as facilitation of medical affairs interventional and observational studies

  • With a Master's degree in natural sciences, pharmacology, or medicine, preferably complemented by an advanced degree in a related
    field such as MD, PharmD, or PhD, you bring the academic background necessary for this role
  • Your experience in the pharmaceutical industry, whether as an MSL or in drug information, clinical research and development, or other
    clinically relevant activities, provides a strong foundation
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and the ability to derive insights from data are advantageous in this role.
  • Demonstrating both the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently, you foster productive relationships
    internally and externally.
  • You possess a solid understanding of therapeutic area products, project management, and clinical trial design and rationale
  • Your excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills, combined with strong organizational abilities, ensure effective
    interaction with Thought Leaders and fellow MSLs
  • Striving to make an impact on individuals and organizations, you exhibit interpersonal awareness and business acumen
  • Fluent German and English language skills round off your profile
