Elvet Recruitment has been appointed to recruit for an Administrator to join a construction business in Stockton.

The Administrator will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role involves handling a variety of tasks related to organsation and communication, including maintaining accurate records, managing office supplies, and assisting with daily office needs. Proficiency in basic Excel skills is required to perform data entry, manage spreadsheets, and generate reports.

This is a permanent position working 4 days per week and working hours are flexible.

Key Responsibilities:

* Answer and direct phone calls

* Organise and schedule meetings and appointments

* Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms

* Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

* Develop and maintain a filing system

* Perform accurate data entry tasks

* Create, update, and manage spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel

* Maintain accurate records

* Monitor and manage office supplies inventory

* Act as a point of contact for internal and external clients

* Handle requests and queries from senior managers

Experience

* Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant

* Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, in particular)

* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task

* Experience working in the construction industry is preferred
