We are looking for a positive and caring Support Worker to join one of our supported living services in Croxteth area of Liverpool where we support 2 ladies and 1 male 24/7 within their own home. 
 
We are currently looking to recruit for 1 x 30 hour permanent position. 
  
We need someone who is flexible as shifts will cover mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep-in shifts per week.  We work on a four week rolling rota, this enables family/work balance. You are given your rota minimum of 8 weeks in advance.  
 
You will be required to work sleep in shifts 10am-10pm sleep 8am-10am, day shifts and 10am-3pm and evening shifts depending on the people we support activities. All shifts will be on a rolling rota basis. This is an active service, requires staff to work occasional evenings to attend Theatre shows. 

You will be supporting 2 females and male between the ages of 46-70 years old. All people we support are active, access the community on a daily basis and have a positive presence in the local community.  
You do not need to have experience but it is essential that you share our values.  As long as you have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of those with a learning disability, we will support you with progression opportunities throughout your career with us.

What does a Support Worker do?
As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.
Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.
Supporting people to live independently – budget management, paying bills, housework, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
Excellent communication skills/relationship building – supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
