Financial Accountant

A well-established business is looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team. 

As Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include: 

Preparing monthly accounts - overhead reporting in group formats, in line with group timelines and according to the relevant accounting standards.
Ensuring that supporting reconciliations and analysis are available for all balances in the trial balance.
Supporting on ad hoc requirements
Preparing VAT for multiple entities
Effectively working with a small team of finance professionals to deliver the requirements of the function.
Preparing weekly/monthly KPIs to effectively measure function performance.
Dealing with group finance/finance directors queries in a timely and efficient manner.
Working effectively with other departments to ensure highest levels of customer service are always delivered, including the establishment of SLAs.
Supporting ongoing continuous improvement in processes and technologies to drive efficiencies in financial accounting related activities.
Supporting the wider department function.
We’re looking for a Financial Accountant with the following: 

Qualified Accountant with PQE.
Experience of working within a Financial Accounting function within an SSC environment
Knowledge of the built environment sector an advantage
Microsoft package i.e. Intermediate to Advanced Excel
Previous experience of accounting ERP software essential
