Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday - 20:30 to 07:00 or 21:00 to 07.30

The Role – Nights Office Administrator:

We have an exciting opportunity for anyone looking for a career in our transport department. Have you ever wondered how we achieved getting 1000 deliveries around all areas of the UK each day, would you like to learn how and be part of our Transport team?

As our Night Office Administrator you will need to be efficient in the organisation of the day-to-day duties of the office, you will be required to organise deliveries to meet customer booking times, maintaining the most cost-efficient method and continuing our high level of customer service to the client and delivery point, to communicate efficiently and swiftly working as a team member within the transport department, while also keeping a professional relationship with our other internal departments.

You will have the ability to work on your own without direction whilst retaining the ability to work well within the broader team. You must be competent using a computer and a knowledge of the transport industry would be extremely advantageous.

Responsibilities – Nights Office Administrator:

Vehicle and driver resource availability.
Plan drivers start times and plan their duties.
Driver’s dispatch and de-briefing
Priority load accuracy planning and progress tracking.
Answering drivers on the road issues and resolving any driver delivery issues.
Entering vehicle goods in data and paperwork onto our TMS.
Follow driver accidents and incident reporting procedure.
Achieving personal KPI’s and teams KPI’s.

Requirements:

Experience working at night.
A good team player.
Excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of Excel and Word.
Great communication skills, this will include the use of the phones and emails.
Educated to GCSE Standard or above.
Calm, organised individual, able to work under pressure.
Knowledge of Mandata TMS is preferable but not essential.
Knowledge of driver’s regulations for planning of hours etc.
