Role: Door Engineer
Location: Ampthill, Bedfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30-18:00 core hours but flexibility required
Salary: up to £30,000 DOE plus overtime, discretionary year end bonus & Christmas bonus
A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for a Door Engineer to join our client’s successful team in Ampthill.
About our client:
A small roller and sliding/ folding shutter company of 34 years, supplying rolling, sliding and folding shutters, collapsible gates to retail and commercial businesses.
About the role:
To carry out the installation/ repair of rolling and sliding/ folding shutters to the construction industry. This is a field-based role & you will spend, on average, one night per week away from home, we are looking for candidates based in the MK/Bedford area. Some early morning starts are needed due to shopping centre access.

What we would like from you:
Skilled engineer:
CSCS Blue card skilled worker for DOOR ENGINEER status, with IPAF, PASMA, GSAT, ASBESTOS awareness training.
Full CLEAN driving licence.
Trainee
Our client is open to taking on a trainee for this role who they would put through the NVQ process to achieve the CSC Blue Card – we would, however, be looking for someone that has some degree of onsite experience & you must have a full CLEAN driving licence
