Job Title: Powder Coater
Location: Stourbridge
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Salary: £11.44 - £13.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in powder coating, particularly with aluminium and UPVC window frames. As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our standards and specifications.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
* Set up and operate powder coating equipment according to product specifications
* Apply powder coatings evenly and efficiently to achieve desired coverage and finish
* Monitor equipment operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
* Inspect coated products for quality assurance and make any necessary touch-ups or corrections
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of coatings and materials
* Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Powder Coater, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
* Proficiency in operating powder coating equipment and tools
* Knowledge of different types of coatings and their applications, particularly with aluminium and UPVC materials
* Ability to interpret and follow product specifications and instructions
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Strong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic math skills for measuring and mixing coatings
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow oral and written instructions
