We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our vibrant and inclusive primary school community. 

Position: Full-time Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Location: Newham, London Role Overview: As a SEN TA, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to support students with special educational needs. Your role will involve providing one-on-one assistance, implementing tailored learning strategies, and creating a nurturing environment that fosters academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN
Provide support and guidance to students during class activities and educational exercises
Assist in creating and adapting learning materials to suit individual learning needs
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and the SENCO regarding student progress and any concerns
Requirements:

Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support or education
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
