Requirements:
Completed training as a specialist in computer science or a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent qualifications
- Profound knowledge in network infrastructure, particularly based on Cisco
- Good understanding of switching, routing, and firewall systems, especially in Palo Alto
- Further knowledge of network-related services (DNS, DHCP)
- Experience in monitoring network infrastructure
- Initial experience in troubleshooting hardware systems
- Communication and teamwork skills, customer orientation, structured and solution-oriented work approach, and self-organization
Responsibilities:
Installation and administration of network components Cisco, Brocade, InfoBlox
- Active control, monitoring, and installation of firewall systems (PaloAlto)
- Care, monitoring, and optimization of network-related services (DNS, DHCP), L7 firewall concept, and Cisco ACI environment
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of hardware systems
- Development of automation involving SDN, microsegmentation, VM-Ware
- Analyzing and improving operational processes within the infrastructure
