Tradewind are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, engaging and effective teacher of History to start a new teaching role in April 2024.
Our client is looking to appoint a fully qualified Teacher of History to teach across the full age and ability range. NQT's are welcome to apply. You will be joining a progressive and dynamic department that achieves strong outcomes 'above average' in both GCSE and A Levels.
They are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about History Education
Communicate effectively with all staff, students, and parents
Raise aspirations, expectations, and achievement of all students regardless of ability
Be a team player and go the extra mile to uphold school values
Be able to teach History to all age groups, fulfilling all responsibilities of a teacher of History.
Plan, resource and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard, thereby ensuring meaningful learning takes place and pupils make rapid and sustained progress
Develop one's own teaching practice to a level of advanced proficiency
Fully implement all routines and techniques for creating a culture of high expectations
Contribute to the enrichment, extra-curricular and raising aspirations programmes
Provide daily pastoral tutoring to a cohort of pupils
