P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently seeking an Internal Recruiter to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full time, permanent basis.
Role Summary:
To provide a cradle to grave recruitment service to ensure the best possible experience for candidates and managers.
Main Responsibilities:
* To create and design adverts and other relevant marketing materials to attract the best possible applicants for vacancies.
* To advertise vacancies on a variety of media channels and to monitor the performance of chosen recruitment channels and sources and make recommendations where appropriate.
* Support hiring managers in creating job descriptions and person specifications, providing templates and advice as necessary.
* Maintain the applicant tracking system and the recruitment inbox.
* Coordinate interviews including booking rooms, diary management and the preparation of relevant materials.
* To provide the highest level of support and information to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
* To be the first point of contact for candidates, creating a positive first impression and ensuring that all enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally and to keep all applicants informed of the progress of their application.
* Set up and maintain personnel files.
* To be responsible for all administration relating to the recruitment process
* Promote and maintain the Company’s high standards for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
* Any other duties as and when required.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience of working in recruitment role in a high volume and fast paced environment.
* A self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload and adapt to changing priorities.
* Customer focussed with excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability confidently communicate effectively with people at all levels.
* Forward thinking, proactive and a good problem solver.
* A collaborative and proactive team player.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
* Experience of working within the oil & gas, offshore, renewables or nuclear industries would be an advantage.
* Qualification in a relevant discipline i.e. CIPD. (Desirable)
