Electrical Site Manager

We are working with a well established M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £100m and a strong presence across Ireland, UK and mainland Europe who require an electrical site manager to join their northern businuess unit to work on a notable £30m M&E mixed use commercial and industrial project in Hull.

The project is just about to get to deliver stage, so you will have an opportunity to get involved from the very beginning, supporting to a talented project manager and taking control of a proportion of the electrical package to manage and motivate the specialist subcontractors to PC.

Duties:

Supervision of Electrical installations
• Ensuring SHE standards are maintained
• Ensuring a high-quality product is being produced
• Safe isolation of LV electrical systems
• Review and monitor supplier inspection and test plans
• Site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Support Commissioning activities
• Attend collaborative planning meetings
• As Electrical Appointed Person, ensure electrical safety rules are adhered to and supporting documentation is produced
• Carry out electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment
• Oversee electrical testing
• Issue limitation of access permits
