Do you have experience dealing with product and customer specifications within food manufacturing?

My client is looking to recruit a Specifications Technologist to keep up to date records of customer specifications and other relevant information. If you have experience dealing with this withing the food manufacturing industry, and are looking for a new and exciting role, then look no further!

As a Specifications Technologist, you will be:

Managing all information regarding product specifications.
Ensuring all information is compliant with quality standards, whilst aligning with customer requirements.
Advising customers of potential risks during the process to ensure product launches are smooth and efficient.
Meeting deadlines for new product launches with all relevant information complete such as quality standards, shelf life, etc.
Dealing with customer queries and complaints.
Transferring analytical data onto spreadsheets with reports.
Conducting internal audits, as well as ensuring external audits are complete to ensure all food safety standards, and all other requirements are met.
Any other duties required.

The successful Specifications Technologist will have / be:

Educated to degree level or equivalent in food science/technology or related field.
Experience in a similar role within food manufacturing.
Experience using online specification systems.
High levels of attention to detail.
Able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
Computer literate with good Microsoft Excel skills.
Able to work well in a team and independently.
