Job description
We are delighted to announce that Pyramid Recruitment is working with a leading Department store chain for home furnishings & accessories, electronics, fashion & beauty in Avonmouth who are now looking for a number of Drivers mate / Porter to join their team on a temporary / ongoing basis. It could lead to a temporary to permanent position if you are reliable, hardworking and professional we would like to hear from you.
Location: Avonmouth (BS11)
Pay rate: £12.34 - £12.72 / hour
Shifts: Monday to Saturday availability required
Start times: 6am starts until finish (an average shift would last 10.30-11 hours daily)
The Role as a driver's mate:
* Liaising with customers whilst delivering
* Help the driver successfully deliver client ordered items
* Communicating any issues with other team members.
* Excellent Customer Service
* Keeping records of jobs completed including time confirmation.
The ideal candidate for the driver's mate role:
* Previous experience of delivery processes.
* The ability to keep to deadlines.
* Be available to work beyond the contracted hours during our busy periods.
* Ability to adapt to new procedures and processes as required.
* Must have good communication skills
* Friendly and helpful due to meeting a wide range of customers on the daily basis
