We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Controller to join us in Cambridge, you will take responsibility for the receipt, storage and shipping of both parts and finished goods.
You will have a great level of autonomy in this role, being encouraged to make it your own. We would love to hear from candidates who will make suggestions about how we can continue to work more efficiently and support the business in understanding and following our processes.
While the role is classed as “warehouse” working we currently operate on a small scale involving electronic and precision components.
Ideally you will have a previous background in mechanical and electronic components with a solid understanding of SAP.
As our Warehouse Controller, you will be responsible for:
* Daily working as part of the UK stores team.
* Storing and organising parts in a safe manner.
* Arranging the kitting of work orders as well as amending order shortages.
* Dispatching items from the MRP sales orders.
* Drafting manual shipment paperwork via excel when required.
* Receiving RMA and Demo machines.
* Ensuring the accuracy of stock within SAP is as high and as accurate as possible.
* Effective communication with other plants/ areas in an effective manner.
* Completing general tasks within the job specification to ensure business procedures are adhered to.
In order to be successful within this Warehouse Controller role it is essential that you have:
* Previous experience working within a storage/ warehouse environment.
* The ability to openly communicate and engage with all coworkers of various levels.
* A confident background in Excel usage.
* A strong knowledge in using SAP (MIGO)
* A positive attitude and a strong focus towards our customer base.
* Knowledge of electronic components and mechanical drawings.
