General Operative Moulding

Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a General Operative to join our company and work in the Moulding team based at our Neale Road site in DN2.

Role: This role is to ensure that the manufactured products meet the required quality standards and to maintain and facilitate the removal and packaging of the production from the machines.

Responsibilities:

Ensure production outputs are achieved on time and in full.

Ensure quality standards are achieved at all times by checking the product for defects

*

Ensure product once inspected is placed into packaging with relevant labels a lift taken on the Polybutylene and displayed for gauging

*

Ensure all relevant data is captured / collected and entered onto appropriate systems (BARCO, PRODUCTION & IFS9)

*

When product is booked onto system and the relevant forms / labels issued the product can be moved to W.I.P./ finished goods yard

*

Continuous improvement ideas put forward for implementation

*

Ensure a clean and safe working area for yourself and others

*

Ensure all waste products are separated into their designated containers

*

Ensure all scrap products / sprues are reground in accordance to the SSW and making sure that no cross contamination occurs. Material then to be passed onto Hopper operative

Hours of work: This is Monday - Friday work on 3 rotating shifts covering days, nights & afters, 8 hour shifts
