Job Title: Chemical Operator (Logistics)

Location: Warrington

Salary: £43,000 

A large COMAH plant is looking for experienced Chemical Operators with logistics experience to join their expanding team in Warrington.

You will operate and maintain process plant and equipment to ensure safety, environmental compliance, volume, quality, and cost objectives are met.  Whilst moving chemicals around the site.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently operate plant clearance activities including loading trailers, moving trailers and tankers, and supplying raw materials, pallets, and packaging. 
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and first-line breakdown maintenance to minimize plant downtime. 
Maintain a safe operation in compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards, including auditing, reporting, and housekeeping. 
Provide problem-solving and diagnostic expertise to resolve issues and ensure continuous plant operation. 
Accurately record process information to maintain operation within set limits. 
Participate in Process Improvement Activities and perform formal shift handovers as required. 
Key Skills/Attributes & experience: 

RTITB accredited FLT license, preferably with shunt driving experience and/or work in food or chemical production. 
Process Plant Operations part 2 & 3 or NVQ Level 3 in Process Operations. 
Experience in chemical process plant shift work. 
Self-motivated with drive and enthusiasm for learning and progression in a manufacturing role. 
Strong team player with proactive approach to teamwork, communication, and improvement.
