About the Role:

The SEN TA specialising in challenging behaviours will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs, ensuring they receive tailored assistance to thrive academically and emotionally. This full-time position, Monday to Friday during term time, offers an immediate start date and an open-ended contract duration. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one or small group support, implementing behaviour management strategies, and collaborating with colleagues to create inclusive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with challenging behaviours.

Implementing behaviour management strategies and interventions as directed by the SENCO and teaching staff.

Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).

Monitoring student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers as necessary.

Promoting positive social interactions and emotional well-being among students.

Collaborating with colleagues to create inclusive learning environments and adapt teaching materials to meet the needs of individual students.
