BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

This established and ambitious engineering services company is now looking for an ambitious and career minded Business Development Engineer to join their established team at their Sheffield based office. Offering engineering services into leading clients within the manufacturing and construction sectors the role will promote services to both existing customers and new business outside of the current client base.
This role is to cover Yorkshire and the North of England and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in industrial engineering sales, strong negotiation skills and excellent presentation abilities.
In return you will receive a salary of £(phone number removed) (dependent on experience) + Company Car + Pension + Laptop + Mobile Phone for a Monday – Friday role.

THE OPPORTUNITY
In this varied role, you will be responsible for providing key business development throughout this busy, vibrant business.
Responsibilities:
* Prospect identification and generation of enquiries for the Company
* Arrange and lead visits and presentations to clients.
* Develop and maintain good customer relationships.
* Interpret clients engineering requirements
* Negotiate rates in line with corporate objectives.
* Monitor and report on enquiries & prospects
Skills & Knowledge;
* Engineering knowledge and background
* Technical / Industrial sales experience
* Negotiating skills
* Presentation abilities
* Computer literate
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
* Driving License
* Willingness to travel
