4 on 4 off Night shift Machine Operator (Loading Shovel and Grab) - Doncaster

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking Night Shift Machine Operators proficient in operating both a loading shovel and grab to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating machinery during Night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM to ensure the smooth production process.

Responsibilities:

* Operate loading shovel and grab according to company procedures and safety guidelines.

* Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards.

* Perform routine maintenance on machinery as needed.

* Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production.

* Drive loading shovel to transport materials within the facility.

* Operate grab to move and handle materials as required.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

* Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a machine operator, specifically in operating both loading shovel and grab, preferred.

* Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.

* Valid driver's license with experience driving loading shovel and grab.

* Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Good mechanical aptitude.

* Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects if required.

Job Type: 4 on 4 off night shift

Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Pay rate: £13.50 per hour Monday - Friday, £15.50 per hour Saturday + Sunday
