Job Opportunity: CNC Turner Setter/Operator
Location: Rotherham
Shift Patterns: Rotating Early and Late Shifts
About the Role:
As a CNC Turner Setter/Operator, you will set up and operate CNC lathes to ensure the precise and efficient manufacturing of components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate CNC lathes
* Accurately interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
* Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures
* Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
* Inspect finished components for quality assurance
* Perform regular maintenance on machinery
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator
* Essential familiarity with Fanuc control systems; experience with Sliding Head machines is a plus
* Accurate interpretation of engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
