We are working with a fantastic organisation who are looking to hire a Housekeeping Manager to manage the Housekeeping staff to ensure the department is run efficiently and to the highest of standards.
The position would be responsible for ensuring the College is cleaned and maintained at all times which includes room set up for internal and external events and functions.
The role would typically be Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm, however once or twice a year might require some weekend work.
Typical duties would include:
* Working alongside other department leaders to ensure high housekeeping standards are upheld throughout the building.
* Processing timesheets, staff holiday requests and staff rota’s.
* Ensuring department budgets are adhered to and processing invoices as required.
* To develop and maintain their room inventory system.
The successful candidate:
* Previous managerial experience within either housekeeping, conferencing or the hospitality sector.
* Experience managing large workforces with multiple employees.
* Comfortable managing and working within a set budget.
* High level of communication skills both written and verbal.
* Able to respond to changing priorities and adapt as required.
