Bells of Lazonby have an exciting opportunity for a Store Dispatch Coordinator join the team.
Location: Lazonby, Cumbria
Salary: : £12.02 - £15.03 per hour, plus 25% overtime rates
Job Type: Full - Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:15pm or 9:00am – 5:15PM (Occasional Saturday Work)
Free Transport to and from Lazonby from Penrith Locations for the 9:00am- 5:15pm shift

Store Dispatch Coordinator – The Role:
The stock controller is responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of finished goods, ensuring efficient preparation, rotation, and distribution of both frozen and ambient products. This role is crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely deliveries to customer.
Store Dispatch Coordinator - Key Responsibilities:
Preparing Pallets for Daily Collections:
- Prepare pallets of frozen and ambient finished goods for daily collections
- Ensure all goods are accurately labelled and match the collection orders
- Verify the quality and condition of products before dispatch
Rotating and Selecting Stock:
- Implement and maintain a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) system for inventory management
- Regularly inspect stock to ensure freshness and compliance with safety standards
- Select stock for outgoing shipments based on order requirements and expiry dates
Arranging Collections Between Warehouses:
- Coordinate the transfer of goods between internal and external warehouses
- Schedule and monitor transportation to ensure timely and efficient stock movements
- Maintain accurate records of all inter-warehouse transfers
Booking In Times with Customer Warehouses:
- Communicate with customer warehouses to arrange booking-in times for deliveries
- Provide detailed delivery schedules and ensure alignment with customer requirements
- Address any issues or changes in delivery schedules promptly and efficiently
Store Dispatch Coordinator – You:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of food safety and storage regulations
- Ability to work in cold storage environments when handling frozen goods
- Forklift driving (training will be provided)
