Project Manager
Ventro are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to join our team based in Middlesbrough or other appropriate travelling distance from our sites in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Liverpool.
This would be on a temp/FTC basis for roughly 6 months, with the potential to move into a permanent role if demand permits.
The primary role of a Project Manager is to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within the budget and according to H&S and the client’s requirements.
Requirements:
* CSCS (Or Equivalent)
* SMSTS (Or Equivalent)
* Emergency First Aid at Work (3 Day Course preferred)
* Fire Marshal
* Fire compliance industry experience, ie Fire door installation or fire compartmentation
* Computer literate (Excel, Word, Project) with access to a smartphone for HILTI uploads and monitoring
* Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
* Full clean driving licence
* FIRAS/BMTRADA (Doors and/or Fire Stopping)
* Excellent communication skills
* Prince/NVQ L6 (or equivalent) in construction management
* Preferred 3 years experience in a project management role
* Experience in fire stopping/fire doors/social housing/interior fit out
Main Responsibilities:
* Site Health and Safety
Inc; Rams, Toolbox Talks, site signage, understanding of asbestos registers, safe working practices, reporting near misses and accidents, raising F10
* Chairing formal meetings
* Building control liaison
* Weekly reports
Inc; Progress, delays, Health & Safety, requests for information
* Write and track Gantt charts
* Managing materials on site and stock levels
* Managing 3-5 live projects at a time
* Problem solving
* Managing and resolving disputes
* Managing sub contract teams
