Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the KS2 curriculum, ensuring differentiation to accommodate the diverse needs of learners.

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, motivated, and empowered to achieve their full potential.

- Employ a range of teaching strategies and resources to promote active learning, critical thinking, and independent inquiry among students.

- Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth and development.

- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to promote a culture of excellence and ensure the holistic success of students.

- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behavior, and actively engage in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.

- Demonstrated experience teaching the KS2 curriculum, with a solid understanding of effective pedagogical approaches and assessment practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and the wider community.

- A genuine passion for education and a dedication to creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

- Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs and preferences of students, promoting equality of opportunity and celebrating diversity.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time, resources, and workload effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes.

- A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development and contributing to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning practices.
