A cutting edge opportunity has arisen with a worldwide market leading multinational engineering company working with clients in the automotive, aerospace, renewable, scientific, pharmaceutical, electronics, oil and gas and food processing industries they are recruiting an Electronics Engineer and Control and Motion Engineer, someone with a degree Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering and a year's practical engineering experience.
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience), superb career and technical progression available, Bonus Scheme, Annual Bonus, Excellent Pension, Life Insurance, Private Healthcare Cover, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), buys and sell holiday scheme, free hot lunches in restaurant and sports and social club.
The Opportunity: Join a dynamic team as an engineer providing essential product support to their European offices. As a key player in our innovative global development team, you will have the exciting responsibility of supporting Electric Actuators through technical expertise, customer application assistance, and troubleshooting. This role will involve hands-on experience with setting up and programming PLCs, motor drivers, and cutting-edge industrial communications technologies such as PROFINET, EtherCAT, and IO-Link.
In addition to these technical challenges, you will have the chance to showcase your skills by designing and delivering training courses, crafting user manuals and technical guides, and conducting investigations and tests to enhance our product offerings. To be successful in this role, you must have:
1. A Degree Qualification - Electronics, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
2. 1 year's relevant work experience
3. Knowledge of PLCs and Ladder or Structured Text programming language
4. Knowledge of electrical motion control for industrial applications
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be required to write detailed, technical reports and product documentation
6. The ability to occasionally travel to Europe
Desirable, but not essential skills:
1. Experience of inspecting and testing devices
2. Working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical test equipment
3. Experience to plan and manage projects
4. Technical product support experience
5. Experience of delivering technical training
6. Experience with some industrial communication protocols for example PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT and IO-Link
7. European or Japanese language skills
