As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll have an integral role in guiding the educational journey of students with special needs. Responsibilities:

Offer personalised support to students, adapting teaching approaches to suit their individual learning styles.
Assist in implementing tailored education plans (IEPs) to ensure customised learning experiences.
Support classroom management, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Establish effective communication with parents, teachers, and specialists for collaborative student support.
Prepare and customise teaching materials to cater to the diverse needs of students.

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience working or volunteering with SEND children, preferably with autism/ADHD exposure.
Proficient in behaviour management techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Compassionate and empathetic demeanour.
Commitment to child safeguarding.
Active DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
