Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Manager to join our team. The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to source the best products at the best prices for our stores. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the best products are available at the best prices for our stores
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and terms, and manage relationships with vendors
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and changes in pricing and availability of products
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and inventory, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to our stores
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance and make recommendations for improvements as needed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure the best deals and terms are obtained
- Work closely with the marketing team to identify and source new and innovative products to meet customer demands
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in sourcing and procurement activities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
Minimum of 3 years experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with sourcing software is a plus
Knowledge of industry trends and market analysis
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
