On-Camera Fitness Instructor

The Scoop
As an On-Camera Fitness Instructor with Katalyst, you will have the opportunity to bring your passion for Health and Fitness to a large audience and be their guide to EMS, helping them reach their fitness goals.  We are looking for people that are comfortable being on camera, have experience in the world of Health and Fitness, and are able to bring a big personality to their workouts, making them fun and effective. This role is focused on having a large on-camera presence, and requires your ability to program, coach, and teach fundamental movement principles within the framework of EMS. You will be helping to build our audience with Katalyst and teaching the benefits of EMS training through your on camera performances.  Having EMS experience is a plus but not required.  You'll be provided with all the EMS education you'll need to succeed. Requirements
We are looking for a wide variety of front of camera trainers to join the Katalyst Training Team.  Not all of our customers are the same shape and size and we don’t expect our training team to be either.  Here are a few of the profiles we are looking for in our next batch of Katalyst Trainers. 
Profile one: Celebrity trainer
You have worked with notable names.
You are qualified in multiple fitness genres and are capable of coaching them efficiently
You have been in the fitness industry for 5+ years. 
You have worked with major fitness associated brands
You have experience being on camera as an instructor
You have built your own audience
Profile two: Group X instructor
You have been an instructor at a Group X Studio
You have a passion for inspiring and motivating large groups of people
You are comfortable and capable of coaching in intelligent and fun ways in front of large groups
Your Group X classes attract a diverse clientele
You have led large groups in high energy workouts
You have filmed training sessions for on-demand workouts
Profile Three: Personal trainer
You own your own Fitness Studio or brand
You’ve built your own audience
You have long term client relationships
You are certified by a reputable agency in your area of expertise. Eg. NASM, NSCA -CSCS, NSCA-CPT, etc.. 
You have a Social Media Presence
Your style attracts a diverse clientele
Profile Four: Fitness Enthusiast
You’ve got a great personal story of weight loss or health gain
You have a passion for Health and Fitness
You hold certifications or degrees that are relevant to Health and Fitness
Are you comfortable and able to cue a client intelligently and thoughtfully into good movement
You have a personality that attracts people to you
You are passionate about specific disciplines in Strength and Conditioning. E.g Strength training, pilates, boxing, mobility work, functional training etc.
Profile Five: Fitness Influencer
You have a following on social media-Youtube, Meta, TikTok
You have shot multiple workouts or health/fitness content in front of the camera
You have experience speaking to a camera unscripted for extended periods of time 
You have experience improvising while on stage or on camera
Profile Six :  Entertainer
You have experience as a performer on stage
You have experience as a performer on camera
You have experience speaking on stage or on camera for extended lengths of time unscripted. 
You are comfortable and excel with improvisation
In addition to your experience in Entertainment, you have passion and experience in Health and Fitness
You have experience training others either professionally or personally helping them to meet their fitness goals.
Responsibilities
Work cross-functionally (e.g. with other trainers, experience team, and product team) to develop seasonal workouts, sport- and activity-specific plans, and other content.
Consistently film high quality and  on-brand workouts 
Develop exercises, training plans, curriculum, and education methods
Travel to filming locations as needed
Participate & support VIP, Press, Marketing, & Demo events (travel as required)
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Able to program workouts in effective and fun ways, and have a solid understanding of workout design, and functional movement mechanics
Able to teach fundamental movement principles to an audience in fun and compelling ways. 
Able to perform on camera for extended periods of time
Passion for the health and fitness space
Obsessive attention to detail
Exceptional drive to film content that will positively impact large numbers of people
Excellent communication and organizational skills, and willing to receive constructive feedback
Deeply collaborative and iterative approach to creating workouts
Experience working closely with a team to create the most effective experience for users.
