We are seeking a skilled Technical Administrator to join our team in the Food industry. As a Technical Administrator, you will be crucial in supporting and maintaining the technical section. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations and contribute to the business's success.
* £32,000 Circa
* 3 days office/2 days from Home
* Based in Hertfordshire
Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain the organisation's technical infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networks.
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and resolving problems promptly.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation and maintenance of software applications.
* Install and configure software and hardware, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
* Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions, ensuring data security and privacy.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
* Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery plans to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
* Proven experience as an Administrator
* BRC Understanding
* Proficient knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
* Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues
* Experience with server administration, database management, and network monitoring tools
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
