Location: Hessle

Contract Type: Temporary, Full Time - 8AM UNTIL 4PM ( Monday - Friday )

Driving Required: Yes / MUST HAVE IN-DATE COUNTER BALANCE LICENSE

RATE OF PAY: BETWEEN £13.84 & £14:87 PER HOUR

We are currently seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Operative to join our client's team. This is a temporary position with the main purpose of assisting with the movement of goods between suppliers and company site locations, as well as supporting the warehouse functions when required.

Responsibilities / Accountability's:

1. Transport goods from a designated pick-up location to a drop off location.

2. Safely load vehicles with goods.

3. Contact recipients of the delivery to ensure their presence.

4. Record daily mileage and fuel usage.

5. Accept deliveries and receipt them at the site locations.

6. Update delivery records accurately.

7. Thoroughly check for damage to deliveries or missing items.

8. Move stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift.

9. Maintain a high level of health and safety standards.

10. Provide exceptional customer service.

11. Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.

12. Provide general maintenance support around the sites (e.g., fitting wall signs/floor markings).

Our client is looking for a dedicated and responsible individual who can work well within their team. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
