My client, a highly esteemed food manufacturing PLC situated close to Harrogate, is searching for a Finance Manager. Known for a sumptuous range of premium offerings, this business boasts a fleet of well-invested manufacturing facilities spanning the UK. The role
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager you will be responsible for the costing’s transformation piece of 2 sites. Overseeing the financial reporting, cost accounting and analysis, you will collaborate with other departments to streamline financial procedure, ensuring strong overhead control across all functions by educating and promoting a cost awareness culture, provide regular forecasting of site performance. Analyse financial reports and present findings to the business, monitor financial details to ensure legal requirements are met and drive continuous improvement of accounting practices.
The role will be based 3 days on site and 1.5 days hybrid.
The person
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Finance Manager, within manufacturing is desirable, the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast -paced environment, have effective communication skills, both written and verbal, a natural leader, hold a relevant finance qualification CIMA/ACCA and have advanced excel skills.
