Crossword Recruitment are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor with experience within similar role at a sub-contractor, rather than a main contractor.
Our client are a leading painting & decorating company based in South Yorkshire and are keen to add to their pre-construction team.
You'll be expected to manage the costs relating to various projects. This will include new builds, renovations or maintenance work. From early stage costs to final figures, quantity surveyors must minimise the costs of the project and enhance value for money whilst ensuring that the project meets all legal and quality assurance requirements and regulations. You'll work alongside the contracts managers to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget.
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 4 years' experience in a similar role and be able to travel to the office in Rotherham, as this is where you'll be based on a day to day, with travel to site from the office. As long as you have experience within construction, no painting & decorating experience is needed.
£40-45k on offer, plus other bonuses to be discussed. Access to a pool car for site visits etc
