About the role

We are recruiting for a warehouse operative to supply production lines with fruit at Salford Priors site effectively and efficiently.

About you

You will have a power pallet truck licenses and experience in distribution, effective verbal and written communication skills, you will also be a team player and have flexibility to work various days and hours to meet business requirements.

Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor
Hours: 32 guaranteed minimum hours per week over 4 days, to include at least one day at the weekend, working patterns will be discussed on the interview stage

Location: Orchard Farm, School Road, Salford Priors

Main duties and responsibilities:

* To ensure the production lines are fully supplied with fruit at all times with minimal downtime for continuous productivity.

* To ensure the correct fruit is supplied and scanned into each job on each production line according to lot number provided by production on the Prophet system.

* To ensure any fruit not used on a job is scanned back into the stock correctly and located into the correct location in the correct fridge.

* To ensure any reusable boxes are safely transferred to the back of the line.

* To make sure all areas of the pack house and fridges which are worked in are kept clean and tidy at all times.

* To make sure all fridges are kept organised at all times.

* To be able to provide cover on the bailer machine when needed.

* To be able to provide cover to complete Stock Session report.

* To adhere to all company policies and procedures.

* To work collaboratively with all departments.

* To proactively participate in the individual performance management process, achieving SMART targets and continuous personal developments.

* To fully participate in the development and achievement of the Salford Priors Team Vision.

* To undertake any other duty commensurate with the role.

Essential criteria:

* Power Pallet Truck License

* Experience in distribution

* Effective verbal and written communication skills

* Attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to prioritise own workload

* Ability to use initiative and as part of a team

* Ability to embed and live ASF Values
